Generally speaking, my G.I.Joe figure collection is in overall great shape, though I admit I can't say the same for the vehicles.  Figures were fortunately stored away from the vehicles in a good environment in plastic cases.  The vehicles were stored in cardboard boxes for many years in my dads storage shed where weather elements, etc didn't have them fare as well.  I may work to clean them up/rebuild them though if I can.  I have added a number of figures to my collection (see photo).  I mostly work to collect the G.I.Joe's from 1982 to 1986 because that was when I really played with them and was before my junior high years when I stopped, plus looking back I think that after 1986 Hasbro started taking a lot of the figures over the top and not so believable.  I may have liked bright colors and crazy costumes on characters in general as a kid, but not so much on my Joes.  I wanted them to look more military believable.  I have made some exceptions though as seen.

Over the years, I mostly kept reading the comics with some intervals in time as exceptions, which mostly held my interest because they didn't deviate as much with the newer guys (mostly stayed on focus with original characters) all the way until the end of the Marvel run.  I more or less stopped there, but did pick up some intermittent books from Image, Devils Duo, and IDW when they were running and I felt like it.  I never really cared about those as much, until now when IDW picked up where Marvel left off with Larry Hama.

My collection and this website are both constantly evolving.  Sometimes you will see G.I.Joe's in my directory that you do not see in the picture below, and sometimes you may see Joes in the picture that are not in the directory.  Please bear with me as I work to get it all completed.  Thanks
